Was on hiatus

Sorry I haven't posted lately and answered your posts. I'll do that soon. I was in a funk and even though I had my good moments, I wasn't feeling up to updating my blog and replying.  Strangely, even though I feel so tired and sleepy right now,I'm happy to hear the rain outside. It has been raining every day so far. I love it! My mom and I have been joking that, since the crossing street near where we live gets very flooded when it rains so much, we joke that we would need a boat for my mom to go to work, lol!

I would like to add some more to this entry but I'm gonna stop for now. Too tired. Take care everyone and be safe and have a wonderful week.

Lots of options but one thing for sure is I would split the money with my family.

Hm...Orlando Bloom. He pops up from the box and says hello. "Can I come in?" I'd say, "No, but you do have 2 options. One, you can go back inside that box and go back where you came from or two, go into the trash bin, but I suggest you hurry because our neighbor's dog likes to raise his hind leg on cardboard boxes."   Kidding.

This may sound funny but I would like to be drawn on a Betty or Archie comic. LOL!

CHRISTMAS! But then of course I would know what my presents would be, so that's no fun.

Those books "for dummies."  You never know if they are true or not. Besides, how dare they call us dummies!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

Boy, this December went by so fast for me. Christmas was good, but the day before New Years wasn't so good. I didn't feel good yesterday, and today I'm okay but not too well. Besides my illness acting up a little, I had trouble sleeping. I did have fun though yesterday while I was playing games on Facebook. Those little moments like that was a relief. I even got happy that I got more members on one particular game.

I didn't have the chance to post my list of what good and bad times I had this past year of 2009. So here it is.

The bad:

1. My uncle died. Guess when? Yesterday at 7 a.m.
We didn't receive the news right away until later on in the morning. To be honest, there's no great communication with almost all of my relatives.  I don't feel sad though but I think because we weren't close. He was locked in his own world and he became so depressed after he was laid-off that he no longer wanted to live. God gave him a long life.
Rest in peace uncle and enjoy your happy reward that God gave you. Until we meet again. I hope, I need to keep trying to be good.


2. The other bad thing of 2009 was when my sister was rushed to the hospital.

3. Our illnesses. That's nothing new.

4. I lost a friend. No, not dead. Just walked away from one because he and I had nothing in common and ... to make it short, it didn't feel like we could be friends. Real and good friendships consists of loyalty, trust, honesty, and understanding, compassion, love, and communication. This ex-friend has a good heart BUT his faults got in our way of friendship.


The Good:

 I wont post the best ones because it's so personal and special to me, but I will mention these:

1. Enjoyed better movies and programs on TV this year.

2. Our happy moments.

3. We got a free turkey from my mom's work. (she got a certificate for a free turkey or other poultry of choice.) We are going to have turkey today for New Years. My dad was a chef so he is going to cook it. I loved how he made it on Thanksgiving day.

4. I became a hard-core nerd, lol! I don't know if some of you remember me mention books this year, but I read a lot of them. It was so much fun. This year, my bookshelf has grown a lot.

5. Since I was 13, I got my first diary book and years and years after, I've been getting new ones and all left incomplete. But this year, I managed finally to write more on a new one. My first entry was December 11, 2008 and have been keeping it up all of 2009. It's so much fun. And I'm so happy and satisfied to see that my diary book is almost filled.

6. I've also been keeping up with my blogging, although not as much as my diary.

7. I met a few new people online and one of them became my friend online. I have lost a friend but I gained a better one.

Thank you all for your interest in my babblings and rants and all and for your company. This has been the best year so far when it comes to online friendships.

8. I learned a little more in life. But I am still dumb, lol!

9. Thanks to all your well wishes and prayers, my family and I made it through the year physically and financially. THANK YOU SO MUCH and may God bless you all and your loved ones always!


I guess that's all to add. I actually feel better after I typed all of this. I guess I needed to vent.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! :D

Well, it's almost here.  The celebration of the birth of Baby Jesus. I wont be online on Christmas eve/Christmas day because my family and I will be celebrating Christmas. We're going to go to Midnight Mass first before we open our gifts. Yeah, gifts are joyous to receive but the main reason is to celebrate the birth of Baby Jesus. That is the most best and wonderful gift we have ever received. Thanks to Him, He saved us. We should thank Him for everything and for saving us and for loving us unconditionally.  And he also wants us to spread the joy, peace and love with our loved ones. So have fun everyone, make lots of wonderful memories, laugh, smile, hug, and kiss your loved ones. But don't forget to give thanks to Baby Jesus and tell Him you love Him and wish Him a wonderful Happy Birthday.

Update on In-N-Out Burgers

I can't believe it rained last night!  So cool! And funny thing was that right before I knew it was raining, I thought to myself how great it would be if it rained. Well, minutes after that, it did.   It rained on and off.

Remember my last post about "In-N-Out Burgers?" When I posted that here and my review on "Viewpoints," I had also sent an email to In-N-Out. Yeah, I was really ticked off that day I read that false article on "Yahoo Health" about "In-N-Out" being "unhealthy." But guess what? I got surprised when I got a reply from "In-N-Out."  This is what they told me:

True or false?

I can't believe that many people claim to be experts  when they're not! Take this article for instance. It claims that one of the fast-foods on the list "In-N-Out" is unhealthy.  It is a fat lie!  People who actually tried it will know it is healthy. Here's why:

1. Burgers aren't fried. They're grilled.

2. Burgers come with lettuce and tomato which is, what ladies and gentlemen, healthy! Duh!

3. For those who don't eat or limit their carbs, In-N-Out has a burger called "Protein burger" which has no bun and it is covered with lettuce.

4. The french fries are fried in 100% vegetable oil. That's one of healthy oils compared to peanut oil and others.

5. It tastes fresh because wow, they use real potatoes! You can see them slicing the potatoes on the window when you use the drive-thru. You can see what the workers are doing when you use the drive thru.

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all doing great. Well, it's almost time for that special and blessed day when Baby Jesus was born.  Next week on Friday. What a joy! 

I have another update. No, this time it isn't about my fiction blog or my other stuff. It's about author Nicole O'Dell's website. She updated it and it looks amazing!
